Privacy Policy

How AstroG collects, uses and protects your information, who processes it, how long it is kept and your choices.

Who we are

AstroG (astrog.ai) is brought to you by AstroG Research and Solutions. For any privacy question or request, write to support@astrog.ai.

What we collect

Account: your name, email address and the way you sign in.

Family profiles: the names and birth details (date, time and place of birth) you enter for yourself and your family.

What you do on AstroG: your AstroG AI questions and answers, saved charts and reports, predictions and your feedback on them (likes, "came true" answers and comments), reminders and settings.

Orders and payments: plan, order and payment references. Card and bank details are handled by the payment provider, never stored by AstroG.

Usage and device information: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location from your network, collected through Google Analytics and our servers' security logs.

How we use it

To calculate your charts, Panchanga, predictions, Muhurtham and reports; to answer your AstroG AI questions; to keep your account, saved items and purchases; to keep AstroG secure; and to improve AstroG using your feedback and usage information.

AstroG AI

AstroG's own server calculates your chart. To write an answer, the AI provider receives the calculated chart facts and your question — and for timing questions your time zone and the calculated time windows. Your name, contact details and birth date, time and place are not sent with chat questions unless you type them into your question.

AI Yearly Forecast and Life Reports are written from calculated chart facts, which include dates such as when each Dasha period begins.

The AI provider is currently Anthropic (Claude). If it is unavailable, a backup AI provider configured by AstroG may be used. AI providers process this information to produce the answer for AstroG.

Who else processes your data

Google Firebase: sign-in, your account and family profiles, website hosting, and Google Analytics.

Cloudflare: the AstroG server and its database (calculations, AI answers, reports, feedback and payment records).

The AI provider (see above).

Razorpay: payments, when online payment is available.

Sellers in the AstroG Pooja Store receive only what is needed to deliver your order.

What we never do

We do not sell your personal data. Your birth details are never shown publicly. We do not show advertising based on your chart.

How long we keep it

AI Yearly Forecast and Life Reports are kept for 12 months, then deleted automatically.

Your account, profiles, saved items and AstroG AI conversations are kept until you delete them or ask us to delete your account.

Payment and order records are kept as long as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

You can see and change your profiles and settings at any time, and export your data from Account.

To delete your account and data, write to support@astrog.ai from your account's email address. Research use of your data is optional, anonymised, and can be switched off in Account.

Security

AstroG uses HTTPS on every page. Your account data can be read only by you once you sign in, and AstroG's service keys stay on AstroG's servers. No service can promise perfect security; we work to protect your data and will tell you if something affects it.

Changes

We will update this page when AstroG changes how it uses data, and show the date of the latest update at the top.
